Authors Tim Tran and Bob Ferguson ’65, a Marine Corps veteran and Purple Heart recipient, will discuss how the Vietnam War impacted both of their lives at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12 in Nicholson Library on Linfield University’s McMinnville campus.
Tran is the author of “American Dreamer“, an inspirational, first-hand account of the motivating power of an immigrant’s dream for a better life. Ferguson is a Linfield alumnus who wrote a memoir, “Some Days Chicken, Some Days Feathers,” chronicling his experiences at Linfield and in Vietnam.
