Linfield students to perform “A Doll’s House”

Doll's House1McMINNVILLE – A new spin on a traditional play will create a unique viewing experience for theatre audiences at Linfield College.

“A Doll’s House” by Henrik Ibsen will be performed Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 5-7, and Nov. 12-14, at 8 p.m. in the Marshall Theatre in Ford Hall at Linfield. Another performance will be offered on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. Continue reading

Beaverton citizen honored for humanitarian work

bwaugh2Editor’s Note: Bert Waugh, from Beaverton, will be honored this week with a Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award from Linfield College. He will be recognized for his humanitarian work with homeless youth.

McMINNVILLE — Empty bedrooms are hard to come by in the Waugh household. Bert Waugh and his wife Susy share a passion for helping abandoned youth and have provided shelter — both in their home and through their organization, Transitional Youth — for thousands of teens over the years. Oller earns Linfield Alumni Service Award

McMINNVILLE, Ore. – At age 14, Kristine Oller’s idea of fun was to clean her sister’s room. Some things never change. Oller, a 1993 Linfield College graduate, organizational expert and career strategist, now spends her professional life organizing others.
