Linfield University is excited to announce a series of Wildcat Welcome Receptions designed to introduce new university president, Mark Blegen, to the university’s valued donors, alumni and friends. Blegen became Linfield’s 21st president on July 1, 2025.
Beginning this fall and continuing throughout the year, these receptions will take place in various locations to bring together members of the Linfield community for an opportunity to meet President Blegen, engage in meaningful conversations and celebrate the Wildcat spirit.
“Connecting with members of the Linfield community — including our alumni, donors, students, employees, friends and neighbors — is essential as we look toward the future of Linfield,” Blegen said. “These receptions offer a chance for me to listen, learn and share our vision for the university’s continued growth and excellence.”
Attendees can expect brief remarks from Blegen, opportunities for networking with fellow Wildcats and light refreshments.
