Linfield music, theatre and fine art students will be showcasing their work — and in one case, selling their art — ahead of the end of the fall semester on Dec. 13. The events are free and open to the public. Linfield University will close for Winter Break on Dec. 23, and re-open for January Term on Jan. 2, 2025.

Dec. 5: Juried student show and Art Market at Linfield Gallery
Original work from Linfield students will be professionally juried; other student art will be available for purchase — just in time for holiday shopping!
Artist and curator Jennifer Gillia Cutshall will give remarks regarding the students’ work at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 in the gallery, followed by the opening reception until 7 p.m. with light refreshments.

In addition to the student exhibition, a Makers Market will be held from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 5, adjacent to the Gallery. Buy handmade gifts for the holidays, including original wrapping paper, hand–pulled prints, paintings, drawings, ceramics, and graphics created by Linfield student artists. Free and open to the public.

Dec. 5: Winter Choral Concert

Come join Wildcat Glee Club, Cascara Voce and the Concert Choir for their winter choral concert featuring holiday music. 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium (inside Melrose Hall). Free and open to the public. For more information, email musicoffice@linfield.edu.
Dec. 6: Winter Dance Showcase

Dec. 10: Opera and musical theatre showcase
