Members of the Linfield College Dance Ensemble will present a dance concert, “Global Movement: Peace. Love. Dance,” Friday, May 7, at 8 p.m. in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium, located in Melrose Hall at Linfield.

Under the direction of Brenna Mollerstrom, adjunct instructor of music, students will perform 16 different pieces each representing a different relationship to dance and the message of movement around the world. Featured dance styles include ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, pointe and belly dancing.

Members of the spring dance ensemble class participate in the concert. In addition to performing, students help with professional responsibilities associated with the production.
