Wells senior composition recital set

Keelan Wells '19Keelan Wells will present a Senior Composition Recital Friday, April 26, at 7 p.m. in Delkin Recital Hall in the Vivian Bull Music Center at Linfield College.

Wells is a music major with a philosophy minor. Her recital will feature works composed during her four years at Linfield and highlights pieces in electronic and chamber music written for string and wind instruments. The recital is presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts in Music degree and is performed in collaboration with student and faculty performers.

Wells has been playing cello since second grade and performed with the Cello Ensemble and String Ensemble at Linfield. While at Linfield, Wells studied composition with Andrea Reinkemeyer; cello with Diane Chaplin; piano with Johnandrew Slominski and drumset with Paul Owen.

The performance is free and open to the public. For more information, call 503-883-2275 or visit linfield.edu/arts.
